How to Use SVG to PNG
Use the controls above, then check the example and limitations below.
Upload safe SVG
Choose SVG XML with the standard namespace and numeric dimensions or a viewBox. Export text to paths for reliable font appearance.
Set output width
Enter a width from 1 to 8192 pixels. The calculated height and total pixel count must also fit the limits.
Render and download
Convert to PNG and inspect the reported dimensions. Transparent SVG regions remain transparent in the PNG.
What is SVG to PNG & How Does It Work?
SVG describes vector geometry; PNG stores a fixed grid of pixels. Choose a width to render a self-contained SVG into a transparent PNG. Height is calculated from the source dimensions or viewBox so the artwork keeps its proportions.
For example, viewBox 0 0 200 100 exported at width 1000 produces a 1000 Γ 500 PNG. Basic paths, shapes, gradients and clipping are supported. Unsupported active content is rejected before the SVG is loaded into an image.
Key Features & Benefits
Aspect ratio retained
Height follows the SVG's intrinsic dimensions instead of stretching the artwork.
Restricted SVG loader
Rejects CSS, scripts, external resources, filters and animation.
Common Use Cases
Slides and documents
Render vector artwork for an editor that expects raster images.
Fixed pixel assets
Prepare a predictable pixel width from a scalable logo or diagram.
